Global Health

Global Health

Our research, analytics, and advisory (RAA) services in global health focus on four key areas: economic evaluation, health policy, program evaluation, and policy landscape.

Economic Evaluation

We work with partners to undertake HTAs to support evidence-based decision-making. We do this primarily, though not exclusively, through economic evaluations. We follow the best practices and guidance provided by the national, regional, and global regulatory bodies.

Health Policy

Our work on global health policy is aimed at improving population health in low and middle-income countries (LMICs) and encompasses the following interrelated areas:
> Health systems strengthening
> Universal health coverage
> Health financing
> Social determinants of health
> Health security and pandemic preparedness
>Healthcare quality and costs
> Health insurance
> Fiscal space analysis
> Intergovernmental fiscal transfers for health
> Hospital governance and management.

Program Evaluation

Our work on program and policy evaluation is underpinned by a careful and systematic assessment of processes, outcomes, and impacts pertinent to the policy/program under consideration. The assessments are informed by the latest tools and techniques used in M&E, including the causal techniques used in impact evaluation.

Policy Landscape

We assess the macro-fiscal and policy landscape surrounding the design and implementation of health policies and programs as well as the introduction of healthcare technologies and innovations.
